November 10 2025
The management of InFab has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Mr. Kevin Browne, who tragically lost his life on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the company’s Good Hope, East Coast Demerara location.
In a statement issued on Monday, the company extended condolences to Browne’s family, friends, and colleagues, noting that it is “deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident.”
InFab clarified that the ongoing construction at the site was being carried out by Royal Global Guyana Inc., located at 230 Section B, Pattenson, Turkeyen, Georgetown, which had been contracted to build a worker living area at the rear of the premises.
According to the company, the work was under the full supervision and responsibility of Royal Global Guyana Inc., and the individual involved was not an employee of InFab. The company further stated that Browne’s presence on the roof was unknown to InFab personnel at the time of the incident.
Royal Global Guyana Inc. has since acknowledged contractual responsibility for the project and is cooperating fully with the relevant authorities as investigations continue.
InFab reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and transparency across all operations and pledged its full support to the ongoing investigation.
“Our thoughts remain with Mr. Browne’s family during this very difficult time,” the company said.
