Sheriff CSO Dies After Falling off Roof

Police in Regional Division 4 ‘C’ are investigating the death of 48-year-old Kevin Browne of Apiqua Lane, Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, who reportedly died on Sunday, November 9, 2025, after falling from the roof of a building at Good Hope, East Coast Demerara.
Browne, who served as Chief Security Officer of Sheriff Security, had earlier transported workers to the INFAB building on Good Hope Public Road. Around midday, after workers observed water damage to sections of the ceiling, Browne reportedly climbed onto the roof to inspect the issue. During the inspection, a section of the roof gave way, causing him to fall several feet onto the concrete surface below.
He was rushed to the Enmore Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. His body was later taken to Sandy’s Funeral Parlour, where a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
