Attorneys-at-law Dr. Dexter Todd and Everton Singh-Lammy today successfully secured bail for local entertainer Daniel Wharton, popularly known as “Baby Skello.”

A High Court judge granted Wharton bail in the sum of $45,000.

Wharton had recently appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond Magistrates’ Court, where he was charged with blasphemous libel over a song that allegedly contained offensive references to a Hindu goddess.

He was initially remanded to prison pending the next hearing.
