600 New Land owners in Linden ‘Dream Realised’

November 17 2024 – Thirty-seven families in Linden, Region 10, took a significant step toward homeownership as they received vouchers for cement and steel through an ongoing initiative by the Ministry of Housing and Water.
This program is designed to support families in constructing their homes and achieving their dreams of owning a house.

The event also marked a major milestone for the Ministry’s housing initiative, as 600 individuals in Linden became first-time landowners in the new Wismar Housing Development.

This achievement is part of the government’s broader Dream Realised Housing Drive, aimed at empowering citizens through access to affordable housing opportunities.

Ministerial representatives congratulated the new allottees and their families, commending them on this transformative journey.

The Ministry also extended gratitude to its staff and partner agencies for their tireless efforts in making the initiative a success.
The Dream Realised Housing Drive continues to change lives across Guyana, demonstrating the government’s commitment to creating pathways for sustainable housing and development.
