Vagrant Found in Barrel Died from Multiple Injuries-PM

Levi Williams, whose body was found in a barrel in Le Repentir Cemetery on Christmas Day, died from multiple injuries.

 

That’s the finding of a postmortem that was performed on Monday, December 29.

 

Police Regional Division 4 A Commander, Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean, stopped short of saying whether investigators are now treating the 39-year-old vagrant’s demise as a murder.

 

“What I can say is that it is an un-natural death,” Mc Bean told BIG Smith News Watch, while stressing that examination of CCTV footage from cameras near the cemetery remain a crucial aspect of the investigation.

 

Levi Williams’ mother identified his body. shortly the man’s decomposing remains were found in a barrel in Le Repentir Cemetery, in the area beteween Louisa Row and St. Stephen Street.
