Sawmill Operator Charged with Murder

September 17, 2024 – James Lord, also known as “Jamesy,” a 34-year-old sawmill operator from Soesdyke, has been formally charged with the murder of 29-year-old Alexis Roxanne Harris from Free and Easy, West Bank Demerara.

 

Lord was arrested on September 8, 2024, and appeared today before Magistrate Rhondell Weever.

 

The charge was read to him, but he was not required to enter a plea.

 

He has been remanded to prison, with his next court appearance scheduled for October 8, 2024.
