Lone gunman attempts to execute journalist Travis Chase

BIG Smith News Watch has been told that several shots were fire at a car which chase drives and was parked at a multi-occupancy building on Durban Street.

According to what we were told, Chase was not in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

It is being reported that the gunman who showed up on a motorcycle, was wearing a Hoodie.

Persons reported seeing the man acting suspiciously before opening fire on the car.After he was done and attempted to ride away, his motorcycle began giving him some challenges.

It is unclear if the gunman was aware that the journalist was not in the vehicle at time.

The shooting up of Chase’s vehicle comes three years after he lost a vehicle to arson just across the road from tonight’s shooting in a state agency’s compound.

Several journalists were on the scene this evening to offer support and comfort to Chase even as cooperated with detectives.
