KILLED: Royston John and Imogene Gordon

The police in Linden Region 10 are investigating a double murder which took place sometime on Wednesday evening. Dead are Imogene Gordon 49 years old and Royston John.

According to information reaching BIG Smith News Watch, the two have been sharing a relationship for a while now but the previous partner of the woman was not too pleased. It is not clear at this time if he had anything to do with the deaths but the police are unable to locate him.

Nine days ago, he was placed before the courts after Gordon made a report against him that he threatened to cut off her hands and feet.

This publication has been told that at approximately 20:35hrs on Wednesday evening, the two were reportedly attacked in the home which is owned by Gordon and shared by the two at Lot 177 Prosville Wismar Linden.

When the police arrived on the scene, the found the two lying with suspected stab wounds about their bodies, they were picked up and rushed to the hospital where they were both pronounced dead on arrival.

BIG Smith News Watch was told that on Wednesday evening, a neighbor heard Gordon screaming and attempted to reach out to her by calling her mobile phone but got no answer, the neighbor then called the police who responded but by that time it was too late. Both of the victims were found lying in the yard when the police arrived.

A search of the area saw the police detectives stumbling on a knife which they suspected might have been the murder weapon used by the person or persons who attacked the couple.

On March 10, Maxwell Usher 48, the ex-lover of the Donna and who is said to be a businessman was hauled before the court after the woman made a threatening language report against him.

He pleaded guilty and was pleased on a bond to keep the peace and stay away from the woman for six months. The police detectives have since made several visits to his home and business place to locate him for questioning in relation to the matter but he was not found. The investigations are ongoing

UPDATE: Please be advised that this morning the businessman was arrested by the police and is said to be assisting them in their investigations
