Gun, Ammo Seized in Police Operation at Amelia’s Ward

Police in Linden have discovered a suspected firearm and ammunition during an operation conducted late Monday night at Castello Avenue, Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
The operation, carried out around 22:30 hrs on December 1, 2025, was based on information received by ranks. Officers conducted a search at the residence of a 28-year-old contractor, where they uncovered a suspected 9mm pistol hidden in the roof ceiling.
Two magazines containing a total of 48 live 9mm rounds were also found.
The homeowner was arrested and taken to the Mackenzie Police Station along with the seized items.
He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
The suspected firearm and ammunition have been lodged as evidence while police pursue further inquiries.
