Guard killed as thieves made off with Banks Beer

The police in Regional Division 4-C were this morning called to investigate the discovery of a body inside a building at the Lusignan Golf Course.

The dead man was identified 57 Year Old Dalchand Dhanai of Lusignan Pasture, East Coast Demerara, a security guard at the facility.

BIG Smith News Watch was made to understand that upon arrival this morning, someone found the guard in the upper flat of the building bound with shoe lace.

We were also told that the remains were found, in a face down position with injuries to the head. Dried blood was also evident at the scene.

Upon investigating, the police discovered that two brush cutters and two cases of Banks Beer were stolen from the property as the bond was broken into.

The police are continuing their investigations.
