-Police probe closed, no charges recommended”

In a recent interview with Travis Chase, businessman Gabriel Harragin has publicly addressed allegations that have circulated widely on social media, firmly denying any wrongdoing and insisting he is the victim of a compromised device rather than a perpetrator of criminal acts.

Speaking candidly, Harragin rejected claims that he uploaded or distributed explicit material, maintaining that his mobile phone was stolen and later compromised without his knowledge or consent.

He stressed that any content linked to his name was not authored, shared, or approved by him.

The interview comes amid reports that local police have closed their cybercrime investigation into the matter.

According to Harragin, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has reviewed the case and recommended that no criminal charges be laid against him, a development he says validates his long standing claims of innocence.

Harragin also categorically denied allegations that he engaged in sexual relations with Guyanese women since his arrival in Guyana on January 19 to date.

Additionally, he dismissed claims that he may have willfully spread a sexually transmitted infection (STI), producing recent medical documentation that he says confirms negative test results for STIs.

Positioning himself as a businessman focused on rebuilding his reputation, Harragin acknowledged past personal failings but emphasized that he is no longer defined by previous behavior. He described himself as a changed man, committed to personal growth, accountability, and moving forward constructively.

While public debate surrounding the case has been intense, Harragin says he hopes the closure of the police probe and the DPP’s reported recommendation will allow him to clear his name and refocus on his business and personal life.
