April 2 2025 – Sherwin Benjamin, a 37-year-old businessman from South Amelia’s Ward, Linden, is now in police custody after surrendering himself to authorities at the Mackenzie Police Station.

Benjamin was wanted in connection with the unauthorized removal of a motorcycle from the Amelia’s Ward Police Outpost on March 19, 2025.

Following an investigation, police had issued a wanted bulletin for him.

The motorcycle in question was recovered on the same night of the incident.

Additionally, the vehicle used to transport the motorcycle from the police compound was later found in possession of another individual.

That vehicle was impounded by police on March 29, 2025, after the individual claimed he had borrowed it from its owner.

Benjamin remains in custody pending further investigations.
