Venezuelans busted with marijuana in Essequibo house
The police in Region 2 on Saturday afternoon carried out an intelligence led operation which resulted in the discovery of a large quantity of compressed marijuana.
The police went to a house in Johanna Cecilia Essequibo Coast where they carried out the operation, arresting two Venezuelans in the process, ages 34 and 20.
The police during their operation discovered a large quantity of drugs hidden in the ceiling of the house.
The suspects were then cautioned and arrested by the police.
