Joint Investigation Launched into Fatal Linden Shooting
April 12, 2025 – A joint team from the Guyana Police Force’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and the Regional Security System (RSS) has commenced investigations into the fatal shooting of Ronaldo Peters and Keon Fogenay in the mining town of Linden.
According to a police report, earlier today, the investigative team traveled to Region Ten, where they met with the families of the deceased men to offer support and gather relevant information. Following those meetings, the team revisited the scene of the shooting as part of their ongoing probe.
The circumstances surrounding the deaths of Peters and Fogenay remain under active investigation, as authorities work to determine the sequence of events and any potential breaches of protocol. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
