BREAKING: Body of Missing 11-Y-O Found in Hotel Pool

-Double Day Hotel Set Ablaze
April 24, 2025- The search for missing 11-year-old Adrianna Younge ended in tragedy Thursday morning after her body was discovered in the pool of the Double Day Hotel in Tuschen.
In a swift and emotional response, hundreds of protesters, outraged by the incident, set fire to the hotel.
Adrianna had gone to the hotel’s pool area on Wednesday around 1:02 p.m. with her grandmother, Carol Xavier, and other relatives.
Despite an initial search by police after she was reported missing, the young girl’s body was only recovered the following morning.
As tensions flared, residents also blocked a truck from leaving the hotel premises, which also hosts a rental company.
A large crowd has since gathered, including Adrianna’s family, who had been staging a protest demanding answers about her disappearance.
In a heartbreaking scene broadcast live on social media, Adrianna’s mother could be heard sobbing and pleading with someone over the phone to reveal her daughter’s whereabouts.
Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Dr. Vindiya Persaud, is currently on site, speaking directly with the grieving family. President Irfaan Ali also contacted Adrianna’s mother earlier today, assuring her that a full-scale search effort had been launched, which was to include the deployment of sniffer dogs. Although the dogs have not yet arrived, police have already been conducting thorough searches of the hotel’s lower levels and surrounding grounds.
Authorities are working to control the escalating situation at the hotel, and investigations into Adrianna’s death are ongoing.
