State House intruder was employed by Amalgamated Security Company

Nigerian National Bethel Chineze who was shot on Thursday after invading State House, stabbing, and disarming a Presidential Guard in the process was employed by Amalgamated Security Company as a Guard.

BIG Smith News Watch was able to confirm that Bethel was employed with the security shortly after he arrived in Guyana.

In the process of his employment, Bethel was assigned to provide security duties at a City Bank on Camp Street.

Additionally, Bethel would be sent by the security company to provide similar services to the homes and officers of foreign diplomats.

Today efforts by this publication to solicit a comment from the General Manager of the Security Company Wayne Clarke were futile.

When we reached out to the company, we requested to speak with Clarke but were told he was not there. We then asked them to ask him to make contact and provided the security company with a number for our office.

However, no calls were returned and when we checked back, we were told that no number for Mr. Clarke can be shared with us and that we would not be able to speak with him.
