Bagotstown Murder Suspect Apprehended in Berbice
April 30 2025- The Guyana Police Force has confirmed the arrest of Hosea Fraser, also known as Hosea Selmon, the prime suspect in the murder of Mark Benjamin, which occurred on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Bagotstown.
The 28-year-old Fraser, a resident of Norton Street, Bagotstown, was apprehended around 2am on Wednesday, April 30, during a targeted police operation in Regional Division Six.
The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder and had urged members of the public with relevant information to come forward.
