Adventure Reg 6 gets $446M Pump Station

Earlier today, Zulfikar Mustapha, Minister of Agriculture, officially commissioned the Adventure Pump Station in Region 6.

The project, completed at a cost of $446 million, is set to provide significant benefits to the local agricultural community.
The state-of-the-art pump station is equipped with two 150-cusec pumps, capable of draining 126,000 gallons per minute.
This infrastructure will offer vital drainage relief to over 6,000 acres of residential and agricultural land, including the Black Bush Polder scheme and surrounding areas.
Minister Mustapha highlighted that such investments by the government are crucial for bolstering the agricultural sector in the region, ultimately enhancing productivity and supporting local farmers.
