Convicted Criminal begs for financial help to stay out of jail

“There is an old saying, that it is always the broke ones and the ones with no money who pick the most trouble”
After using his platform to name, shame, degrade, slander, cyberbully, and assassinate the professional characters of hundreds of persons including women, convicted criminal Keron Bruce is now begging the public to save him from jail for the offenses he has committed against so many innocent persons.
The convicted criminal is now turning to beg the families and friends of those same persons he defamed and slandered over the years. This is similar to a bandit who walks into your home, kills your friends and family, and then begs you to be sorry for him. THINK ABOUT THAT FOR ONE MOMENT.
On Friday, a court found Bruce guilty of using a computer system to cyberbully journalist Leroy Smith. The court matter has been ongoing for four years. The conviction of Bruce came after several devices which were seized from his home during a police investigation, had slanderous voice recordings, images, and content identical to what had been previously uploaded to social media.
After the court found him guilty Friday and convicted him of the crime, Bruce sought to tell the court that the content uploaded about the journalist was done jokingly. The court however reminded him that in exercising freedom of speech, persons must also be responsible.
On Sunday, Bruce became a laughing stock for many on social media when he announced that he had created a GoFundMe campaign to raise three million dollars to pay his court fine within one month or face six months in jail.
This publication was told that Bruce reportedly approached the head of a popular security company and another city businessman begging for help to pay the court fines. He however received no definitive word from them about their support of his request.
Judges, magistrates, politicians, pageant contestants, members of parliament, and other persons were all on the receiving end of slanderous content uploaded by Keron Bruce on the Guyana Uncut Platform through the Mudwata Character.
Fascinating, is the fact that for years Bruce used his platform to slander and defame Guyanese, and conducted those activities with impunity, taking comfort in the fact that he may never have been caught.
After Bruce was caught, and the matter taken before the court, he embarked on a campaign to promote himself as a public figure to whip up public support, compassion, and sympathy.
Already coming out of the ruling, several persons have indicated that they will be filing lawsuits against the convicted criminal for content he had uploaded about them and their families in the past. At least two persons have since contacted attorneys at Law to initiate their proceedings against the convict. They said they were only awaiting the outcome of the criminal matter before going in the direction of a civil action.
Persons close to the convicted criminal indicated that he had reached out to some persons offering them apologies for content previously uploaded.
