Imran Khan, a 34-year-old resident of Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara, who was found dead in his parked car at Mon Repos on Friday afternoon, had reportedly been experiencing health issues in the days leading up to his death.

According to a close friends, Khan began working at Beharry Manufacturing about two months ago.

He had called in sick from work last weekend and told colleagues earlier this week that he had visited the doctor and was expected to return to work on Friday.

On Friday morning, Khan reported for duty but appeared unwell and complained of nosebleeds and dizziness.

Concerned coworkers contacted their manager, who advised that he should go home or seek further medical attention. He left the workplace around 8:30 a.m. and was last seen driving off alone.

Hours later, his body was discovered seated in the front passenger seat of his black Nissan Bluebird, which was parked along First Street, Mon Repos South.

According to Police, there were no visible marks of violence, and police confirmed that the vehicle has been lodged for further examination.

Friends described Khan as a quiet and hardworking individual who had been trying to move forward after personal challenges.

His body is now at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home awaiting a post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
