Police constable detained for Buxton robbery; multiple other gun related crimes

The Guyana Police has quietly placed one of its ranks under close arrest as they investigate his alleged involvement in a number of robberies and driving of the getaway car for the bandits who often time would armed with firearms.
BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that the ranks who 24158 and goes by the name Joseph. We were told that the rank is attached to a unit within the division known as the ‘Special Team’ which operates out of the Cove and John Police Station, home of the Division’s headquarters.
Based on what this publication was told, the rank is said to be the persons who drove the getaway car from a robbery scene in Buxton a few days ago. The suspect in that robbery was arrested by residents and received a beating before being handed over to the police.
While in police custody, the suspect reportedly implicated the police rank as his accomplice and who drove the getaway car on the night of the robbery. He reportedly told detectives that it was not the first time that the rank acted as the getaway driver for him and others at crime scenes.
In videos published in relation to the robbery at Buxton, it showed the suspect walking up to a group of men and whipped out a gun which he pointed at one of them. he relived that suspect of his valuables while the others who were in the area ran away
Another video showed when residents from the community captured him and unleased a savage beating on him before summoning the police. Today the police took the rank who was placed under close arrest, back to the crime scene.
Repeated calls were made to the police divisional management earlier today but those calls went unanswered until late this afternoon when the Commander finally returned a call confirming the development and stated that they are continuing their probe in relation to the matter
