Minister Bharrat engages Region One residents

Natural Resources Minister Vickram Bharrat is in Region One engaging residents of Chinese Landing, Kariako and Kokerite as part of a one-day Cabinet Outreach led by President Dr. Irfaan Ali.
Bharrat is meeting with residents along the Barama River to hear concerns, discuss development opportunities and address issues affecting the communities.
The outreach has seen Cabinet ministers dispersed across Region One, with President Ali visiting the three sub-districts of Moruca, Matarkai and Mabaruma.
The Government has been conducting Cabinet outreaches across the country as part of efforts to bring senior officials directly into communities, particularly remote and hinterland areas.
The engagements provide residents with an opportunity to raise concerns, discuss economic opportunities and development priorities, and seek assistance from government officials and public service agencies.
