14 matches slated for opening day of Courts Optical Pee-Wee Football tourney

The Courts Optical Pee Wee Football Tournament will kick off on Saturday, September 27, featuring an exciting lineup of matches at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
The opening day will commence with the traditional march pass of teams at 10:00hrs followed by the first match of the day at 11:00hrs, where Batavia Primary will face off against St. Mary’s Primary School.
The day’s second match will feature Baptiste Primary versus St. Theresa at 11:00hrs with both match one and two playing simultaneously on separate pitches.
Potaro Primary and Winfer Gardens will clash at 12:00hrs with St. Pius vs. Agatash and defending champs Santa Rosa against Goed Fortune Friendship also slated for 12:00hrs.
Three matches are scheduled for 13:00hrs with Chairty Primary facing a school to be determined from the playoff round while Marian Academy will take on GIA St. Aloysius followed by West Ruimveldt against another school that will come out of the playoff round.
Another three matches are slated for 14:00hrs with Clonbrook Primary going against Lenora Primary while Stella Maris and Tucville will also clash at the same time. The final match at the 14:00-hr mark is Genesis against the final playoff round team. football.

Defending champs Santa Rosa will be in action twice on day one to kick off their title defense.
The final batch of matches will happen at 15:00hrs with Redeemer Primary going against Smith Memorial while defending champs Santa Rosa Primary will get their second taste of action on day one against North Georgetown. The final match of the day will feature St. Stephen’s Primary against St. Gabriels Primary School.
