Charles Optimistic About Lady Jags Leading CONCACAF Group Following Victory

After a convincing 3-0 triumph over Dominica in the CONCACAF women’s qualifiers, Otesha Carles, who scored for the Lady Jags, emphasized the importance of finishing as they progress in the tournament.
“It’s important in training that we are more clinical in the final third, so it’s working on finishing and scoring goals, we just need goals,” Charles noted.
When questioned about any adjustments they could have made during the match, the skilled Charles succinctly responded, “Finish our chances.”
Looking ahead, if the Lady Jags aim to secure the top position in their group, Charles shared her thoughts on how they can accomplish this.
“I think it is important that we remain very disciplined, work hard, don’t give up, continue to take all the chances and continue to create as many chances to give us the ultimate chance of qualifying out of the group,” Charles emphasized.
Guyana is set to take on Antigua and Barbuda on March 5, with aspirations for the top spot still alive despite one win and one loss.
