September 24, 2025 — The Maritime Administration Department (MARAD), under the Ministry of Public Utilities and Aviation, will host the World Maritime Day Exhibition 2025 on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Providence National Stadium. The exhibition runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. under the global theme: “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity.”

The event will feature a wide range of displays, including vessels, marine equipment, and maritime technologies, and will provide insights into shipping, port operations, and offshore services. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with maritime professionals, industry leaders, and educators.

In addition to exhibitions, the event will highlight career paths, training opportunities, and recruitment initiatives within the maritime sector, making it an ideal platform for students, jobseekers, and professionals interested in the industry.

MARAD has extended an invitation to the general public, ship owners, offshore operators, port operators, maritime educators, mariners, and all industry stakeholders to participate in the event.

The World Maritime Day Exhibition promises to be both interactive and educational, showcasing the vital role of the maritime industry in Guyana’s development.
