Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Anthony Phillips, Prime Minister, and Zulfikar Mustapha, Minister of Agriculture, along with a technical team, visited the communities of Strong Hope, Friendship Canal, and Hackney in the Pomeroon River yesterday.

During the outreach, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Agriculture detailed the Government’s Developmental Plan, emphasizing its continuation in these areas.

They also engaged with farmers and residents, listening to their concerns and gathering suggestions to improve the quality of life and services within the communities.

Residents expressed their appreciation for the visit and pledged their support to collaborate with the government in transforming the Pomeroon into a significant agricultural hub for large-scale food production.
