Security Guard Sentenced to Two Years for Stealing Cement Mixer

A 27-year-old security guard has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to the theft of a cement mixer valued at G$450,000.
Rawl Success of Lot 102 Beterverwagting Sideline Dam, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on June 3, 2025, in connection with the theft of the equipment, which was the property of Quincy Kendall.
He appeared before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, June 5, where the charge of simple larceny was formally read. Success admitted to the offence and was sentenced to 24 months’ imprisonment.
