More stolen guns from security firm recovered as cops apply the pressure

Police Detectives have been applying intense investigative techniques as they seek to rid the streets of several guns which were stolen from a security company last week.

On Saturday, the main suspect in the heist who is said to be an employee of the company, led detectives to a location where four more firearm that were stolen from the company, were stashed.

Three .32 Pistols and one 9mm Pistol were recovered by the police Saturday afternoon.

Last week, an inside job at the Radar Security and Supplies Company saw several small arms and other guns and ammunition removed from a strong box on the company’s premises.

The four guns which were recovered today were removed from a location in Albouystown.

On Friday, detectives recovered two of the stolen weapons at a South Ruimveldt location.

A senior official from the security firm is said to have masterminded the theft. At least five individuals are in custody.

Over 10 weapons were stolen between 10:00 hours on December 25, and 18:30 hours on December 26 2022 from Radar Security and Supplies office at Carmichael Street, Georgetown.

They include two single-barrel shotguns valued at $950,000; four 9mm Taurus Pistols valued at $1,400,000; five Taurus .32 pistols valued at $1,425,000; 25 12 gauge cartridges, 538 .32 ammunition, and 18 9mm rounds of ammunition.
