Skiddle shot ten times in Durban Street execution

38-Year-old Anthony Charles also known as ‘Skiddle’ was on Monday morning shot and killed on Durban Street in Georgetown.

Based on information this publication received, Charles was cleaning a drain in the area as part of the recent government-awarded community contracts given out to residents in Leopold Street.

Police sources indicate that Anthony Charles whose address was given as Leopold Street was shot multiple times about his body.

Based on what this publication was told, sometime around 11:30hrs Monday at Durban and Smyth Streets, a silver Grey Allion car PVV 5906 pulled up where Charles was working.

The vehicle’s occupants then opened fire in the direction of Charles hitting him several times about the body including his head. From all indications, he seemed to have been the intended target.

Skiddle as he is popularly known in the streets was no stranger to law enforcement and has been the subject of numerous police investigations.

The probe into his shooting continues.
