April 3 2025- Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, accompanied by Minister of Amerindian Affairs, Pauline Sukhai, met with residents of Micobie, Region 8, in an interactive session aimed at addressing community concerns and gathering recommendations to improve livelihoods.

The outreach forms part of the Government of Guyana’s ongoing commitment to ensuring inclusive economic development across all villages and communities.

During the engagement, residents had the opportunity to voice their concerns on key issues affecting their community, while the ministers provided updates on government initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth and improved living standards.

The government continues to conduct nationwide outreach programs, reinforcing its pledge to ensure equitable development and enhance opportunities for all citizens, particularly in hinterland regions.
