“IsWe” sentenced to 25yrs for murdering girlfriend

Shaquawn Alleyne, called “IsWe” or “IsWe Boss,” has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Shonette Dover.
The sentence was handed down by Justice Sandil Kissoon at the Supreme Court of Judicature, with time served to be counted from January 30, 2024, when Alleyne was first remanded.
Court details revealed that between April 3 and 30, 2021, Alleyne fatally shot Dover and buried her body behind his Canvas City residence.
He later participated in efforts to locate her after she had been reported missing for 28 days, before her decomposed remains were eventually discovered.
Following the discovery, Alleyne fled to Suriname, where he evaded capture for about three years before being arrested and deported to Guyana.
The former Linden barber later pleaded guilty on June 2 to the killing of the 20-year-old woman.
