Guyana Tourism Authority Joins Emerging Destinations Roadshow to Showcase Premier Travel Experiences


The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) has announced its participation in the highly anticipated third edition of the Emerging Destinations Roadshow, where it will unveil the best travel experiences Guyana has to offer to audiences across North America. This strategic involvement underscores the GTA’s unwavering commitment to positioning Guyana as a top-tier tourist destination on the global stage.
Across eight events held in eight cities, a total of 255 members of the travel trade convened to engage with GTA representatives, eagerly immersing themselves in the diverse offerings of Guyana. From its awe-inspiring natural landscapes to its culturally rich heritage, Guyana captured the hearts of attendees, solidifying its status as a rising star in the travel industry.

The Emerging Destinations Roadshow provided the GTA with a prime platform to highlight key attractions, sustainable tourism initiatives, and unique experiences available in Guyana. Through interactive presentations and networking sessions, attendees gained invaluable insights into the myriad opportunities awaiting travelers in Guyana.
With stops in prominent cities including San Diego, La Jolla, Irvine, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, and Westchester, the GTA seized the opportunity to engage with travel industry professionals, fostering partnerships to drive tourism growth in Guyana.
The West Coast leg of the event took place from March 4th to March 7th, covering San Diego, La Jolla, Irvine, and Los Angeles, followed by the East Coast leg from March 11th to March 15th, encompassing Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, and Westchester (NY).
