March 26 2025- The action-packed Commissioner’s T20 Cricket Competition continues today as defending champions Headquarters (HQ) battle it out against the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) in the first semi-final at the Police Sports Club (PSC) Ground, Eve Leary.

HQ stormed into the semis after a dominant victory over Region #4C on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Winning the toss and opting to bowl first, HQ’s bowling attack kept Region 4C to 138/8. Kelvin Leitch (48) and Nickosi Barker (42) led the charge for Region 4C, but the HQ bowlers proved too strong. Kanhaiya Ramkaran delivered a match-winning spell, grabbing 4/31 in 4 overs, while Joel Gilkes (2/28), Ameer Mohamed (1/17), and Kyle Michael (1/22) provided solid support.

Chasing 139, HQ wasted no time in sealing victory. Kyle Michael stole the show with a blistering unbeaten 68, smashing seven sixes and four fours to steer his team to 140/3 in just 11 overs. Ramkaran added 24, capping off a stellar all-round performance.

With HQ eyeing a place in the finals, all eyes are now on the second semi-final showdown between the red-hot Officers team and Region #2, set for Thursday, March 27, at 9 AM at the PSC Ground.

Cricket fans can expect another electrifying contest as the tournament inches closer to crowning this year’s champion!
