Azruddin Mohamed Charged With Multiple Traffic Offences

Politician and businessman Azruddin Mohamed, 38, of Houston, East Bank Demerara, was charged on November 14, 2025, at the Whim Magistrate’s Court with several traffic-related offences, including prohibited tinted glass, obscured identification mark, operating an unlicensed motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
The matter was called on several occasions, after which Magistrate T. Hardy ordered that a summons be issued for Mohamed to appear in court on January 9, 2026.
On that date, Mohamed appeared before the court, the charges were read to him, and he pleaded not guilty to all counts.
Bail was granted in the sum of $65,000, broken down as follows: $5,000 for prohibited tinted glass, $40,000 for an obscured identification mark, $10,000 for operating an unlicensed motor vehicle, and $10,000 for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
The matter has been adjourned to January 30, 2026.
