AGI Minister Fulfills Commitment to Rupununi Farmers
Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha, has delivered on his promise to assist farmers in Potarinau, South Central Rupununi, with land preparation.
During the recently held National Toshao Conference, the Minister committed to ploughing land for 50 farmers in the community.
Land preparation commenced on August 21.
The project included a soil analysis report, conducted using Latitude SAT2Farm data, a part of the Department of Agriculture’s Data Management System, ensuring that the land is optimally prepared for farming activities.
