Fire Fighters are this moment fighting a blaze at the Moon Supermarket located at La Bonne Intention.

The fire reportedly started sometime after 5 this morning. The supermarket is operated by Chinese Nationals. Persons said they heard what appeared to be a loud explosion before the blaze started.

There are reports from sources on the ground that at the time the fire stared at this Chinese operated supermarket, there were four persons including a baby who were asleep in a section of the building.

One Chinese national told the BIG Smith Crime Watch that at least one person has been taken to the hospital but she could not say what exactly has become of the others.

Police sources on the ground have indicated to the BIG Smith Crime Watch that they were told that there should have been four persons in the building at the time this fire started.

At this point there is no confirmed information as to if those persons were removed from the building during the initial stages of the fire-fighting operation or of they were trapped.
