Breaking!!! Third victim dies after being shot at Vigilance

Shawn Edwards, the man who was shot in the abdomen by an unknown gunman on Monday, July 13, has died.

BIG Smith News Watch understands that Edwards passed away at approximately 8:00 a.m. today at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

Reports indicate that Edwards was found lying face down on a roadway, bleeding from his abdomen, following the shooting. He was rushed to the Enmore Regional Hospital before being transferred to the GPHC, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Sources told this publication that Edwards had previously survived another alleged attempt on his life involving gunmen. That incident was reportedly never reported to police.

His death follows the fatal shootings of Cordel August, 22, and Eon Headley, 35, in Vigilance.

No arrests have been made in connection with the three killings, and police are continuing investigations while seeking to determine a motive behind the attacks.

Meanwhile, the family of Cordel August has maintained that he was not the intended target of the attack. Both August’s and Eon Headley’s families are calling for justice.
