I want to be like you- Son of businessman who kicked his daughter

Businessman, Davenand Singh, who was caught on camera beating, slapping and kicking his daughter inside a store the family owns has received harsh criticism from thousands of persons, but on Sunday, his son Brad Singh stood with him and supported his actions, even praying to one day become like his father.

“I wish somewhere along my life that maybe I can become half of the man you are; I’m proud to call you my father” the junior Singh noted in a facebook post on Sunday.

Last week Friday, the daughter of the businessman had a sit down interview with this publication where she detailed the abuse she faced for more than ten years at the hands of her father.

In the interview, the young woman indicated that it was not her along who was being abused but every single member of the family including the businessman’s wife, something the family has since came out to deny.

“𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬” Brad Singh stated in his facebook post Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, the battered young lady remains in protective custody of the state after she managed to flee the family home days after the beating.

Saturday last, the businessman brought his family to a popular social media commentator where he sought to defend battering of his daughter and sought to suggest to the world that video recording of him kicking and slapping his daughter is not what it seem to be.
