A police inspector attached to Regional Police Division 4 ‘A’ has been charged with the offence of Unlawful Transfer of Ammunition.

Inspector Abasola Flatts appeared before Magistrate Fabio Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was formally read to him.

According to a police report, the charge stems from an intelligence-led operation conducted at the Linden Bus Park in Georgetown on May 7, 2026.

Flatts pleaded not guilty to the allegation and was granted bail in the sum of $150,000.

The matter has been adjourned to June 24, 2026, for disclosure.
