Businessman killed while test-driving pickup

A businessman from Corentyne Berbice died on Friday morning, while testing driving a pickup which he had intentions of purchasing.

Dead is 31 Year Old Sahid Hamid of Rose Hall who lost control of the vehicle in the vicinity of Jackson Creek, Corentyne Berbice.

According to information reaching this publication, the accident took place just about 08:10h, at  Jackson Creek Public road.

It is reported that Hamid was driving the vehicle at a fast rate when he lost control and ended up into a nearby trench.

He was taken out of the vehicle in an unconscious state by public spirited persons and rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
