BREAKING: Two collapse and die at separate restaurants Friday morning

Two individuals reportedly collapsed and died at separate restaurant locations on Friday morning, triggering emergency responses in two areas of Georgetown.

In one incident, a man identified as Matthew Gordon Meany, a Caucasian male from the United States, reportedly suffered a seizure while at Starbucks MovieTowne around 11:00 hrs.

According to information, he collapsed inside the restaurant and was later pronounced dead.

In a separate incident, a motionless body was discovered within the vicinity of the Hibiscus Restaurant at Middle Street, Georgetown.

The man is believed to be a taxi driver, he reportedly collapsed near his vehicle which was parked outside the restaurant.

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), responded to the scene and confirmed the individual showed no signs of life.

The identity of that person has not yet been confirmed.

Authorities have not yet released official statements on either incident, and the circumstances surrounding both deaths remain unclear.
