Campbell Appointed to ITF Advantage All Committee

Cristy Campbell, President of the Guyana Tennis Association (GTA), has been appointed to the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) Advantage All Committee for the 2026–2027 term.
This appointment is a significant achievement for Guyana, marking its presence in global tennis governance and recognizing Campbell’s contributions to sports leadership and advocacy.
A former national women’s champion, Campbell has been instrumental in promoting tennis in Guyana. Beyond her role at the GTA, she is also the Vice President of the Guyana Olympic Association and the Vice Chairperson of the National Sports Commission.
The ITF Advantage All Committee focuses on promoting gender equality in tennis, advising the ITF Board on policies to enhance opportunities for women and girls in various roles within the sport.
Chaired by Salma Mouelhi-Guizani of Tunisia, the committee includes representatives from multiple countries, with Campbell representing Guyana.
The committee’s responsibilities include developing the ITF Advantage All strategy, addressing gender inequality in sports, and advocating for the use of sport as a means of gender empowerment.
It also monitors the progress of member nations in promoting gender equality and supports initiatives benefiting women in tennis.
Campbell’s appointment not only elevates Guyana’s profile but also reflects the country’s commitment to enhancing sports governance and fostering inclusivity and equity for athletes globally.
