MVP Sports announced as title sponsor for Girl’s U-11 Pee-Wee Football

November 7 2025
On Thursday, MVP Sports Store Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ian Ramdeo delivered a landmark cheque to the Petra Organisation, fueling the explosive 2025 Girls Under-11 Pee Wee Football Championship.
Beginning November 15 and climaxing December 6, sixteen elite primary school powerhouses will converge at the Ministry of Education ground for an unprecedented showcase of youthful brilliance. The intensity begins immediately with a high-stakes round-robin format that guarantees maximum exposure for emerging champions.
Defending titans Marian Academy face formidable challengers including St John the Baptist, West Ruimveldt, Tucville, Stella Maris, and twelve additional hungry programs determined to claim glory. The tournament then escalates dramatically through knockout stages, round of 16 encounters, quarterfinals, semifinals, and a grand finale, with only the elite advancing.
Ramdeo’s visionary backing reflects an urgent recognition that competitive tournaments serve as the critical launchpad transforming local talent into regional and international competitors. The stakes have never been higher, with triumphant champions pocketing 100,000 dollars toward a school project of their choice alongside trophies and medals, while second place secures 75,000 and third receives 50,000.
Individual accolades recognize the tournament’s highest goal scorer, best goalkeeper, most disciplined team, and fourth-place finisher. Petra Organisation Director Troy Mendonca hailed Ramdeo as an unprecedented champion, noting that despite girls’ football’s global dominance and exceptional local talent, the sport has historically languished without comparable domestic support, a transformative deficiency this partnership decisively obliterates.
