Shemar Britton had a spectacular performance at the Senior National Table Tennis Championship, securing three titles over the opening weekend held at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.

On Sunday, Britton achieved a significant milestone by winning the prestigious Men’s Singles title, remaining undefeated throughout the competition. He triumphed over Nigel Bryan, Jonathan Van Lange, Elishaba Johnson, and Orin Hickerson with decisive 3-0 victories, and also bested Niran Bissu, Joel Alleyne, and Krystian Sahadeo, finishing with 14 points in total. Johnson and Van Lange followed closely with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

On Saturday, Britton first teamed up with Olympian Chelsea Edghill to secure the Mixed Doubles title before joining forces with Van Lange to clinch the Men’s Doubles championship.

The tournament is set to resume on October 4 at 10:30 AM, featuring exciting matches in the Women’s Doubles, Women’s Singles, C Class Open, and B Class Open categories.
