Brisport-Luke completes golden double at Fesupo

Franklyn Brisport-Luke captured his second gold medal at the South American Powerlifting Championships after winning the classic segment in Santiago.
Having already succeeded in the equipped competition, the veteran returned to post a 360kg total. His performance included a 125kg squat, 77.5kg bench press and 157.5kg deadlift.
The result increased Guyana’s medal count at that point to three gold, two silver and one bronze.
Debutant Meshach Alexander also competed in the 83kg Junior division, placing eighth with a combined 572.5kg from his three disciplines.
