Public Works on top-speed as schools reopen, amidst roadworks

For two months commencing Friday, August 23, 2024, the Ogle Airport access road between the main East Coast Highway and the Railway Embankment will be closed to vehicular traffic.

The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing road upgrade works for the Ogle to Eccles Highway which has been ongoing for a while. Motorists are asked to use alternative streets to get onto the railway embankment, the Ogle International Aiport, and the East Coast Highway.

Police traffic ranks will be on hand to direct traffic at key intersections during the two months. Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution especially when moving through densely populated communities.
