Commissioner’s T20 Cricket Competition Kicks Off at Eve Leary
The Commissioner’s Inter-Region and Division Knockout T20 Cricket Competition officially commenced this morning at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary, with Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clifton Hicken, ceremonially bowling the first ball to kick off the tournament.
The opening match features a face-off between the defending champions, the Officers Team, and a combined team from Regions 1, 7, 8, and 9.
After winning the toss, the combined Regions chose to bowl first, setting the stage for an exciting contest.
Leading the batting lineup for the Officers Team are Deputy Commissioner of Administration and team captain, Mr. Ravindradat Budhram, alongside Deputy Superintendent Troy Benn.
The competition promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and teamwork as the teams battle it out for the championship title.
