Woman dies in Corentyne Smash Up
A fatal accident occurred at approximately 4:am on Friday at the #43 Public Road in Corentyne, Berbice.
The incident involved a motor car, license plate PAF 8289, driven by a 34-Y-O Melena Nelson. Reports indicate that upon arrival at the scene, authorities found Nelson motionless in the driver’s seat.
Four additional occupants of the vehicle—9-year-old Kriscelle Nelson, 54-year-old Jinette Stephen of Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Georgetown, 41-year-old Jermaine Johnson of Kitty, Georgetown, and 28-year-old Ackae Rogers of Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara—were quickly transported to the Port Mourant Public Hospital for medical attention.
