Dillon Mahadeo and Jamie McDonald secured a podium place in Suriname
Dillon Mahadeo and Jamie McDonald secured a podium place for Guyana by finishing third in the doubles division of a HYROX competition in Suriname.
The pair competed as Team Fitness Express in an event that attracted 125 athletes from Guyana, French Guiana and Suriname.
Competitors faced eight one-kilometre runs, each paired with a functional exercise station. The programme tested endurance and strength through tasks including sled work, rowing, loaded carries, lunges and wall balls.
