Vice President Dr Bharrat Jagdeo is currently leading a public outreach at the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) Compound in Fort Wellington, West Coast Berbice, Region Five, bringing together government ministers and representatives from several state agencies to engage directly with residents.

The outreach provides citizens with an opportunity to raise concerns, seek assistance, and access a range of government services. Representatives from agencies including the Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL), National Insurance Scheme (NIS), and Guyana Water Incorporated were on hand to address queries and complaints from members of the public.

Officials said the initiative forms part of the government’s ongoing effort to bring services closer to citizens and ensure issues affecting communities are addressed in a timely manner.

The outreach also allowed residents to interact directly with government officials and receive guidance, information, and support on a range of matters affecting their daily lives.
